Dark Time issue 1 is gearing up!

Update #1: Finalized structure & Issue 1!

I am happy to report that I have decided to release the story in comic issues. I estimate that there will be about 6 issues that I will compile into a graphic novel later on. In total, there will be 3 graphic novels to finish out the entire story.

I have also finalized the story for issue 1! 🎉 This means I have the script down and I am going forward with illustrating the panels!

Update #2: Refining characters & locations for issue 1

I have also been working on character development and scene design for the first issue. I can't show too much of that though because I will be saving some of it for the Kickstarter, but you can see a heavily watermarked issue 1 character sheet for the main character, Ari, above.

Update 3: What's next

Moving forward, I will be focusing on thumbnailing and outlining the panels. This will involve breaking down the story into individual panels and sketching out rough drafts of each one. I will also be paying close attention to pacing and composition. I will be posting more on this crucial part of designing a comic as well as adding some more free templates to my ko-fi shop!
